We recommend that you keep up to date with the travel and safety instructions of the Foreign Office regarding the booked destination until immediately before departure. We continue to offer travel destinations for which no restrictions in the travel and safety instructions apply and our travel services will be provided as booked.
The safety and health of our guests is our highest priority. TUI has a global and professional crisis management system whose task is to monitor events in the world around the clock and to react immediately if the situation requires it. We are in close contact with the authorities - the Federal Foreign Office and the WHO - whose assessment of the security situation in travel countries forms the basis for our decision whether to offer travel or not.
If your trip begins on or after 25.05.2020, the rebooking and cancellation conditions specified in your travel contract will continue to apply, provided that there are no travel restrictions on the part of the Federal Foreign Office.
Information on planned opening hours or special measures in our hotels due to Covid-19 will be available soon in the BLUE® App.
We continue to monitor what is happening in the world around the clock and react immediately as soon as the situation in a destination changes. We will then re-evaluate the situation, take appropriate measures and inform you accordingly, either directly or via your travel agent/booking portal. You will find your travel contract in your travel documents.
TUI has introduced a 10-point plan with a set of measures and standards to reopen its’ hotels. The measures will enable guests to enjoy their holidays in the knowledge that the highest hygiene standards in relation to Covid-19 have been put in place. In addition to organisation, capacity planning and hygiene measures, the plan also includes intensive training of local staff.
