Website Accessibility
Our commitment to accessibility on our website
We are working to improve our customer experience and help people with disabilities meet their needs while using our website. We are improving our TUI-BLUE.com website and BLUE® App so that customers with disabilities can book all elements of their holiday online or contact us to do so. We are working to ensure accessibility in accordance with the requirements of European Standard (EN) 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA Standard.
What are EN 301 549 and WCAG?
EN 301 549 and WCAG define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of compliance: Level A, Level AA and Level AAA. The guidelines cover a wide range of accessibility features, including text size and colour, keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility.
How accessible is our website/app currently?
Our website and app is not yet fully accessible to people with disabilities. However, we are constantly identifying and addressing gaps and limitations on our website and app.
In making our website and app accessible, we focus on the electronic commerce services (e-commerce services) available on the website and app. E-commerce services are telemedia services offered via websites and applications on mobile devices and provided electronically and at the individual request of a consumer with a view to concluding a consumer contract. On www.TUI-BLUE.com, the term ‘e-commerce service’ covers the areas in which consumers can obtain contract offers and conclude contracts.
Tailoring your experience to your needs
We want everyone to have a great experience on our website. However, you may find that you have a better experience if you adjust the settings on your computer to suit your individual needs. For example, you could:
- Change the colours of the website to make it easier to read.
- Increase the text size so that it is easier to see.
- Have the information on the website read aloud so that you can listen to the information instead of reading it.
If you need help customising your experience, you can visit the AbilityNet website or read the Web Accessibility Initiative's tips for customising your computer.
What are we doing to improve the accessibility of our website and app?
We are constantly identifying and fixing gaps and limitations on our website and app. We aim to make significant progress in improving the accessibility of our website and app within the next 12 months.
