TUI's new experience hotel brand expands in Germany

Hanover/Göhren-Lebbin, 16 December 2016. TUI’s hotel brands continue to grow: With TUI BLUE Fleesensee, the experience hotel brand opens its first hotel in Germany today. The 4.5-star hotel is located in the heart of the Mecklenburg Lake District and offers 156 modern rooms and suites. The TUI subsidiary has thus expanded its portfolio to five hotels within less than one year after its launch.

“Staycation remains in vogue in Germany”, said Artur Gerber, Managing Director TUI BLUE. “We are therefore delighted that we are able to offer our guests the opportunity to experience the new type of hotel in Germany, too, with TUI BLUE Fleesensee.“ Located right on the Fleesensee, the hotel offers numerous opportunities for authentic holiday experiences in the region. The comprehensive Bluefit offering – a combination of fitness, wellness and nutrition – provides hotel guests with a wide range of sporting and relaxation activities. They may relax in the spacious BLUE Spa wellness area or actively explore the Mecklenburg Lake District by land or water. The hotel is also a perfect location for golfers with the nearby 72-hole Fleesensee golf resort. Thanks to its variable room concept ranging from 2 to 190 persons, TUI BLUE Fleesensee is also an ideal conference hotel.

Apart from TUI BLUE Fleesensee, the new experience hotel brand also includes hotels in Turkey, Tenerife and Austria. In Spring 2017, the first 5-star hotel will follow in Tuscany with Il Castelfalfi – TUI BLUE Selection, and from next Summer, the portfolio will also include the (4-star) TUI BLUE Jadran in Croatia.
