Hanover, 7 January 2016. With the establishment of the new hotel brand TUI Blue, the TUI Group is pushing growth in its hotel segment further ahead, expanding its exclusive and differentiated offering for TUI customers. TUI Blue will debut at the start of the Summer season 2016 with the opening of the first TUI Blue hotels in Turkey. To this end, TUI has invested in the repositioning of the current Iberotel Sarigerme Park on the Turkish Aegean Sea and the Iberotel Palm Garden on the Riviera. Under the new name TUI BLUE Sarigerme Park and TUI BLUE Palm Garden, the two hotels can now be booked online and at TUI travel agencies for Summer 2016.
Apart from the hotels in Turkey, the TUI Group is currently building a further TUI BLUE hotel in Tuscany. It will be positioned in the 5-star segment. The Group is planning to operate around 50 hotels under the new hotel brand in the medium term, comprising both existing and new hotels.
The opening of bookings goes hand in hand with the launch of TUI BLUE’s own website at www.tui-blue.com/en/, where prospective customers will find information about the hotel brand from now on. Apart from counting down the time remaining until the opening of the first TUI BLUE hotel, the website offers visitors comprehensive information on the new experience hotel brand. TUI BLUE staff and partners share exciting stories to provide first-hand information. Examples include the hotel manager commenting on the opening of the first TUI BLUE in Sarigerme, a BLUEguide presenting the unique experience concept, and the interior designer explaining the special design of the new hotel brand. Prospective holidaymakers may also subscribe to a newsletter and win a trip for two persons to the first TUI BLUE hotel. The contents and functions of the website will be gradually expanded.
