One of the most impressive ancient sites! The incredibly well-preserved remains of Ephesus will leave you astounded.

The metropolis of the ancient era - Ephesus
Ancient City Ephesos

When Austrian archaeologists began excavations more than 100 years ago, they came upon a relatively intact town. Anyone passing through Ephesus today can get a glimpse of an ancient city unlike any other. On paving stones more than 2,000 years old, you'll come upon temples, marketplaces, and townhouses. Your tour of Ephesus begins at the Magnesia Gate. On the Curetes Road, you'll come to the State Agora, the meeting place of the city leaders, and various buildings preserved as ruins, including the Odeon (theatre), the Prytaneion (administrative and religious buildings), and the Temple of Hadrian, which was completed in 130 AD. The two-storey Library of Celsus is the showpiece of Ephesus. The library completed in 135 AD is regarded as the most beautiful ancient building of its kind. Afterwards, we'll drive into the picturesque wine village of Sirince. Lean back and enjoy a glass of house wine in a cosy village bar.
